Clontarf Castle, Dublin

We stayed at a castle! Clontarf Castle is beautiful. It is right in the middle of a neighborhood in Dublin. As we drove through the front gate and up the drive, we knew we made the right choice to stay at "the castle" for our last night in Ireland.

Athlone, Ireland

I decided I should probably blog about the last day or two of our trip.
Ellie and I left Galway and drove across Ireland towards our final destination of Dublin. On the way, we thought since we had so much time, we may as well stop at a cute town. The first sign we saw that said "castle ahead" we took the exit. The town was Athlone, Ireland.
