Kilkenny and the castle
We didn't go in the castle, but walked around the grounds.
Kilkenny
Kilkenny is the most adorable little down. That was when we first saw rain in Ireland. Ellie was a trooper and drove through the itty bitty little streets of the town to get to the castle. It was a little nerve racking, but we made it.
We ate lunch at Left Bank, a nice pub/restaurant in Kilkenny, across from the castle.
Trinity College, Dublin
We left Dublin with the rental car and headed off to Waterford. But before then, it was Trinity College and The Book of Kells. Sorry, no pictures of the exhibit. They didn't allow any cameras. But, the Book of Kells was amazing, and the Long Hall at the college library was surreal. They organize the books by size! I've attached a link about both after the pictures.
